- This site includes general information about the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark System in general.

- A searchable database of all USPTO employees.

Contacts List
- The USPTO Information Contacts list. This is basically a phone
book to the various departments and information sources within the USPTO.
The list also includes information on box numbers and proper addresses
for sending correspondence to the USPTO.

- The current fees charged by the USPTO
- USPTO BBS Site via Telnet
- The BBS system has many of the most important USPTO documents available
for downloading, including the Manual for Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP)
and the Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP). When you telnet
into the fedworld site, you will need to logon with a user id and password.
New users can easily obtain their own id and password instantaneously
(and for free). To get to the BBS site, gateway to government site #116.
The menu commands for getting there from the main menu are: "U" (for
utilities),"D" (for the gateway system),"D" (for government databases), and
then "116" (for the USPTO BBS site).
