§2.19 Revocation of power of attorney; withdrawal.
(a)
Authority to represent an applicant, registrant or a party to a proceeding may be revoked at any stage in the proceedings of a case upon written notification to the Director; and when it is revoked, the Office will communicate directly with the applicant, registrant or party to the proceeding, or with the new attorney or domestic representative if one has been appointed. The Office will notify the person affected of the revocation of his or her authorization.
(b)
If the requirements of
§ 10.40 of this chapter are met, an attorney authorized under
§ 10.14 to represent an applicant, registrant or party in a trademark case may withdraw upon application to and approval by the Director.
